Economics for a Science student
Hi I'm a third year student going into the Honours Biology program and I'm taking Econ 1B03 and 1BB3 as electives. I'm not like others who ask whether the courses are easy or not. What I'm wondering is because I've taken many Science courses, will Economics be a drastic change of pace that I won't be able to adjust? I really wanted to take Economics so I can understand the world and current events that are going on.

If it is a drastic change of pace, what tips would you suggest?

I think you'll be just fine and probably will find the workload to be very light if you're a diligent Biology major.

You just have to understand the general concepts and apply simple mathematics. The math isn't that hard you just have to think / apply the concepts. If you're good with word problems in math then you'll do fine.

They have a lot of questions like "If this happens what will be the probable outcome"
