does it matter if a tutorial is before a core section?

no because during the first week or two of class, ur prof will tell you that you dont need to attend tutorials, so you wont be going to a tutorial before youve ever even been to a lecture. and then once school really gets started, it doesnt matter, but you might have a preference towards a certain way. I was told once that trying to move my lab section to a spot after the core was a good idea because in the core they might give hints or clues toward the lab (I didnt find it mattered for me).
If its a discussion type tutorial it still might not matter because the things you discuss probably wont be exactly what was taught in class, that would be redundant right.
And for math tutorials (which I never went to) it really doesnt matter because all my TA's did were some sample questions.

ummm i can change the times around on my schedule too, right?
soo where do i go for this exactly, i know you guys mention solar, but for me it says that the undergrad registration/course selection is unavailable? (is that even the right place to look at =P)

If you read the original post, it says SOLAR opens on Aug 11 at 8:30am. It's unavailable right now because it's Aug 10.

I don't understand, SOLAR doesn't givwe you any times? How do you know which to choose?
