There are a number of employment opprtunities available on campus:

ANTI VIOLENCE NETWORK-ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Open to Undergraduate Students. Students must qualify for OSAP and be able to submit an Office of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships Work-Study Approval Form. Please deliver resumes by August 15th to the Human Rights Office, MUSC 212.

*Job Description:
• Attend regularly-scheduled Anti-Violence Network Executive and Membership meetings for the purpose of recording, preparing and dispersing minutes to members in a timely manner.
• Arrange and staff information tables.
• Assist with the coordination of the December 6th Commemorative Service for the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women & other events
• Other administrative duties as assigned.
• Track time and activities and submit bi-weekly timesheets.
Qualifications:
Student should demonstrate an interest in peacemaking and non-violence work. They should be a self-starter who is able to work collaboratively with the Executive and other members of the Network.

How do you get to the Sheraton Hamilton Hotel from the mcmaster campus for the job fair?

I believe it is the hotel downtown attatched to Jackson's Square.

If so, you take any of the following buses: 51, 5C, 10A to Jackson Square. Alternatively, you can walk, and it is on King Street (i believe east).

I'm debating if i shud go to the job fair or not....is it worth travelling from brampton to hamilton for it? or can i easily get a job on campus without having to go to the job fair....btw are these jobs on campus or at the sheraton hotel?

Hospitality Services I assume means Paradise Catering, which is McMaster's catering company.

I've only seen them do stuff on-campus, but I don't know if they do it off campus as well.

And for job availabilty; I don't know at this point how many jobs are available. Many of the part-time jobs for this year were snatched up in the spring by upper year students.

I was starting to apply online for jobs but I got confused when it said school address, is that our res address? and also for the phone number and such. Also for our resume what address we should have on it?
