Engineering 1P03
Can anyone please elaborate what happens in this course?
What is the mark distribution for this course?
What is the deal with the project in the 2nd semester?
How much is it worth?

Wouldn't your prof be a better source of information for this?

Lucky you...I hate the course and the professor. God-damn 3 credit course that lasts a whole year.

It is a mandatory class but it might not have been so before, I don't know though.

But anyways the project that you have to do next term is worth quite a bit. I don't remember exactly how much but it's worth a lot so do the project and work hard. And the prof will tell you how much it's worth, actually do you not have it on WebCT? If you do then it should be in there on the syllabus or something.

How can you not already know all this stuff? Aren't you in the class? I don't think this is even possible to take during the summer, considering that it's literally impossible to fail at all, at least, that's the impression I get.

If it's the same as when I was in 1st year, it's an easy course. I remember during the final we had 2 hours to write it, but most people finished in under an hour.

The project isn't too bad. You just have to do some research and make a presentation. It's basically to get you used to working in groups and perhaps make you a bit more familiar with the different engineering streams.

1P03 was changed last year compared to when we took it (06/07). Last year it was made to be much more work than in previous years.

Shouldn't you be studying for 1P03 or Math? instead of quoting on macinsiders
