I was just wondering, can you take English 1A03 and English 1AA3 in any order? Would it be a better transition taking English 1A03 first?

I don't think that matters since both courses deal with different genres and hence, different types of assignments. Both are writing based, but 1A03 is much less work than 1AA3. So, the only time one becomes preferable over the other is when you are considering things like your course work load and what you are interested in. Good luck

no, I've taken both, and they have completely different readings/focuses.
You'd be fine taking them in either order.
Try to take 1aa3 in a semester where your other courses may not have many novels/readings to do, because you need to be able to get through each novel in that class within 1-2 weeks. If you're taking a course like classics 1b03, you would have 3 novels for that, too, and unless you have a ton of extra time on your hands, you're gonna find yourself pulling all-nighters to try to keep up.

No, it doesn't matter what order you take it. They are both run differently. I took 1AA3 in first semester of my first year but I never took 1A03...
