I've take English 1AA3 and 1A03 this past year and am looking into taking English 1CS3 this year. I've had profs York and Brophy for 1AA3 and 1A03 and found them both to be really great profs, especially York. Prof. O'Conner is teaching 1CS3; does anyone have any input/ advice about this professor? And is 1CS3 a good course? The previous English classes I took were definitely interesting but also involved a lot of work. Any comments? It would be great if someone has taken all 3 and could compare them for me. Thanks!

i believe thats a new course which is replacing english 1bb3/1bo3 - consumer culture & visual culture.
i took 1bb3 last year and it was a really interesting course ! i think culture studies english courses are definitely different from your typical english class where you read classical novels and analyze character development, themes, etc. especially in our class we discussed a lot of current issues using real life examples and read magazine, journal articles.
