				English requirement for med school

Hi I'm in life sci I, many med schools ask for a year of english (and they also emphasize "english composition), generally what english courses do science kids migrate towards at mac? I'm hoping to do one in first year and then another in second, my essay writing isn't that bad but I'd really just like any easy course which would fulfill the english requirment.

Thanks

		 English 1A03 and 1AA3.

Most people do not take English because it's not a requirement for many schools in Canada, especially Ontario.

It is best to ask the school directly since we will not have the most correct answer

Semester hours are the amount of hours of lecture during 1 week. Most science courses are 3 semester hours, English is 2 semester hours.

English is 3 semester hours. (2 hour lecture, 1 tutorial).

Many US universities actually weight each course based on the workload, unlike most of Canada.

Are you sure tutorials are also considered in the amount of semester hours? I read somewhere that it was lectures.

Edit: Oh yeah, I remember how I came about that. Because classes like physics, biology and chemistry are 3 semester hours but some of them have tutorials.
