Environmental science
So I recently decided that I am going into environmental science.
However, it seems that the first year program doesn't take many people.

My average is going to be approx. 80%.
Is it possible that I won't get in???

Are you a prospective student, or are you switching from another faculty within the university?

A friend of mine got in last year from high school with a 79%. I'd say you're cutting it close, and it's possible that you won't get in, but if you can work your average a little higher you really shouldn't have much to worry about.

I strongly believe that Dr. Bernier is one of the best professors at the school. I take nearly all of my electives as Environmental Science courses, and usually with him.

You sure? I've always heard him called "Dr." Bernier, and a lot of stuff on the McMaster site says "Dr. Bernier."

e.g., http://www.science.mcmaster. ca/spo...sodes/geo.html

It's quite possible that he isn't and that the website just refers to him as one. I know he doesn't like putting "Dr." before his name in e-mails or in anything he writes. On course outlines, he's listed as one though.

No idea.
