I'm pretty freaked out that everyone i know has gotten early acceptance into universities, except for me.

When did you get your letter of admission into mac?

Hey! Don't get freaked out - the final day to apply hasn't even passed yet; you still have a ton of time to get accepted.
To answer your question, I didn't get my Mac admission till March, even though the other offers started coming in in January. I also found that admission was program specific - people in social science and humanities tended to get early admission before people in science.
I hope that helps....and try not to freak out!

yeah i got my acceptance right before march break which was pretty much after all of the other universities had handed out acceptances, well except queen's they are always last. I had pretty good marks too so don't worry it doesn't matter when you get accepted.

I was the double cohort year, so instead of doing a four-year program like many of my peers, I elected to come back and pick up a few classes and do CO-OP. So by the end of my first term of high school for that year, I had all the marks I was using to apply with.

I started getting acceptances in January too, but Mac's didn't come until March break, but at that point that was still considered "early" (there was an overflow of applicants for three years due to the double cohort: those who started in 2003, 2004, and 2005). I didn't get my acceptance for Queen's until May, and it was my last one.

Don't worry, you still have a lot of time yet!

I got my letter of acceptance late too... after all my friends got theirs. I think they must send them out in waves/stages, or maybe it was just late in the mail. Either way, you still have time!

Wow... Januaray is very early!
I wouldn't worry too much about it... I think March/April (can't remember which month exactly) was when I got my acceptance for McMaster & Brock 3 years back...

Yeah...I'm curious as to what the definition of nerdy is also.

I'm pretty sure Quarters nights don't fit the bill...nor does everything at school that is non-academic.

Maybe she means "nerdy" in comparison to Western or something, haha.

I wouldn't call McMaster "nerdy" at all - I consider it really diverse. (: There's a place for everyone.
