I believe you'd have to email the prof directly. What's the course?

I would say professor or department.

Wait a minute, I misunderstood. Do you mean that you already have the pre-req added and it won't let you add it in second semester? It shouldn't stop you from adding it. But anyway, contact the prof first and then the department advisor.

Hmm, weird. Maybe there's another pre-req?

Prerequisite(s):
LIFE SCI 2D03 or PSYCH 2TT3; and one of BIOLOGY 2F03 (or LIFE SCI 2F03), LIFE SCI 2A03, 2H03, ISCI 2A18
Do you have both requirements? If so, it's just SOLAR being difficult and your best bet is to contact the prof.

Lol, I totally missed that too... If it's a pre-req problem I would say to contact the department though... or an academic advisor...

This is what I usually do:

Seat in course that is full: Academic Advisor and/or Department
Waiver: Department
Permission: Professor (It says in the undergrad calendar to contact profs for permission to take courses).
Problems with course registration: Academic Advisor

I'm assuming they're in first year since the pre-reqs are second year courses. If you complete the pre-reqs and there's no limit (i.e. only open to level II students) or something, then yes, you can take level II or III courses (although level II is a little more rare).
