Exam Schedule - when is it posted?
My family went ahead and planned a trip to Jamaica for a week, and our flights (for everyone but me because of potential issues with exams) for the 19th of December. Unfortunately, if I have an exam on the 21st or 22nd, I'll have to miss it, which kills me a little bit! Does anyone remember from last year when the internal exam schedule is posted?

I don't remember when exactly, but around a month before exams start or possibly even less.

Sometimes... they let you take exams early, buuut I would think you'd need a good reason for this. Anyway, the exam schedule comes out fairly early so you'll have plenty of time to make appropriate plans.

^ I don't think taking a trip to Jamaica would count as a "good reason". If it does count, you'll likely have to write it during the next term.
Most people, lol from a certain faculty, usually get their exams deferred with doctor's notes.

Haha, I know, it totally wouldn't be a good reason. One of my friends got her doctor to write her a note and got her out of an exam. I guess you gotta buddy up with your doc or somethin'.

Yeah unfortunately they specifically say on the exam policy that a vacation is not a good enough reason to reschedule an exam.
A doctors note is pretty much the only way to get out of it...

I hope you know a Dr. willing to vouch for your "illness". Most doctor's aren't very lenient when it comes to getting a note.
And you're also assuming your program will accept the reason given on the note.
