Holiday Schedule and Exam schedule
Am I to understand that term 1 exams start from the 2nd of december, and go right to the 17th? And that the exam schedule is going to be release in november?

When will term 2 start?

I am asking this because I am planning on leaving the country during the break, and would like to know when to book the plane tickets, so that i don't miss anything.

Thanks.

Term 2 exams will start at the beginning of april, usually the first week of it and go to the end. Last April we started on the ... 9th I think? and finished on the 28th.

The last possible day you could have an exam in term 1 is December 17. Term 2 begins on Monday, January 5.

Does anyone have last years December exam timetable?

While it wont give me an accurate timing for this years exams, i hope that it'll give me a general idea as to which days each classes' exams are.

That won't help you. Every year, the exams for each course change times. They are all scheduled by the registrar and not the professors. If chem 1A03 was December 8 last year, it could be December 17 this year. Sorry for the bad news.

Yeah, whatever you do, don't harass your professors about the exam schedule, they'll just get pissed off because they have nothing to do with it.

Preliminary Exam Schedule
I am in first year, and hear some upper year students talking about the preliminary exam schedule being posted. They said that it is not posted on McMasters website, but that I would have to get the link from someone. Does anyone have this link or know another way I would be able to see the schedule?

Someone posted on Macinsiders recently about finding a tentative exam schedule. Here's the link: http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /INTERNA...test/index.php

meaghank says thanks to nh999 for this post.
