Exams
Hello! I have an exam at 9:00 and another at 12:30 the same day...is that okay to do?

Yes it is ok. If there are 3 within 24 hours then you can request to move one, otherwise it will stay the same

You can also do this:
[defer one exam if] Two consecutive examinations if first one is 3hrs long for December exams only.

This will allow you to reschedule an exam for a later date.

That's odd that I have never heard of that before, and why it is only done for December exams...

In December they have more exam slots per day; they are closer together. So, in order to give you a decent amount of time between two consecutive exams (eat, use the washroom, etc), you can't have them in two consecutive timeslots.
The info is on the Registrar's website, they've had this rule for at least a few years now, if not longer.
