For those of you who haven't heard of Mac H.E.R.O.S, here is a brief description of what our club is all about

McMaster Helping Everyone Reach Out (H.E.R.O.S) is a student based organization involving dedicated and passionate students who are seeking to help out within the Hamilton community and globally. The organization will link students to various volunteer opportunities of all different genres that will interest every student. To name a few, we will be volunteering at a range of homeless shelters, environmental organizations (RBG), animal shelters (SPCA) and retirement homes. Student groups will be linked to engaging volunteering opportunities bi-weekly which will provide an opportunity to gain experience and build new relationships with fellow peers as well! Furthermore, aside from reaching out to the community, our organization will be holding a year round fundraiser with the selected non-profit organization of the current year.
