Failed Program Probation Comm. Studies
I have just found out I am not able to complete my third year in Honours in communication studies due to failing my academic probation. I now need to switch into anthropology. If i get my GPA back to the desired level for fourth year can I switch back to Communications and still graduate within my fourth year, or would I need to complete a fifth year to catch up? Please let me know as I am stressing out hard about this situation I have put myself in. Thanks!

That depend on what courses you take next year. Post your degree audit (or whatever it is called on mosaic), or talk to an advisor

You need certain courses and a certain average to get your degree in communication studies. If you can take those courses, and achieve the required average, by fourth year, you can get your degree. You need to look at the courses you need/have, the average you need/have, to see if it's possible. You're the only one on this forum who has the information needed to answer your question.
If you are still unsure, then I second the suggestion that you speak to an academic advisor.

What are you going to do with an arts degree with barely passing grades?
