Finding your own coop job
Hi I'm in first year and I might be able to get a computer science job with my moms work or my aunts work. My question is about the process I have to go through with the school do I just tell them I got a job and everythings solved or what

1. Go into JHE
2. Go to the engineering office on the 2nd floor
3. Search for the coop people (right of the entrance)
4. Enquire
5. ???
6. Profit

I also think you get a monetary bonus for referring the firm to the coop office if they're not already in their system (networking reward), but I forget.

I could give you more information, only I can't find my coop stuff here at home :(

We are taught to embrace networking so thats what I'm calling it. And if I have to go through the hiring process than it is still fair

Email Lynn Stewart
Just email the coop office about the position that you have gotten: the start and end date, description of your position, and a salary.

I think I had to get an offer letter/email written as well.

Good luck!
