Oh, I have an RESP and am from Bank of Montreal if that helps?
Just log into your BMO account and set up a bill. You would pay to McMaster University and your account number would be your student number. You should probably set up the bill a couple business days before the due date just incase something happens where the payment doesn't go through.

I don't think it does, RESP usually goes directly to you... Doesn't it?

Oh... so then I get the money from my RESP and transfer it to my BMO account to pay McMaster?

I'm not too sure how RESP works. I don't know when you can withdraw and whatnot. But if you can withdraw before the day you have to pay then you can use it to pay. Otherwise you'll have to pay from your own pocket and then keep the RESP in your account.

I believe they take out the money directly from your RESP...you had in that form or something from the bank to the Registrar's office and I guess they have the number there on there..my friend handed in her RESP letter when we went to Mac and I believe that's what they do...not 100% sure though.
