First Year Courseload
First Term:

Physics 1B03
Chem 1A03
Math 1A03
Math 1B03
Astron 1F03

Second Term:

Physics 1BA3
Chem 1AA3
Math 1AA3
Philos 1C03
Anthrop 1A03 (To be replaced by Music 1GB3 [full year] after audition in the fall.)

How does this look? There isn't much I can change about the first term, as they are all required or ones that I really want to take but are only offered first term. Not thrilled about anthropology, but like I said, I'm hoping to replace it with band in the evenings.

First term you are going to get raped. I suggest you drop one course and take it in the summer or switch one of those maths for an easier one, such as Math 1ls3

cheers

Wish I could....The only thing might be to take Math 1B03 later. However, if I do, I'll be in the same situation next year. I think I have to just hope for the best and work really hard.

EDIT: I just checked and I am allowed to take Math 1LS3 instead, but 1) I actually like math and 2) I'm pretty sure doing problems with emphasis on life science applications won't help me much.

Yeah, you should definitely take 1A03...1LS3 is a waste of time. If you like math, then your first term looks fine. Plenty of people take all three maths in first year, which means you'll have to take two in one term, and it's probably easier to take 1A03+1B03 than 1AA3+1B03.

If you're in Physical Sciences, then Math 1A03 & 1AA3 would definitely be more useful for you.

Yeah. The two Maths will lighten the first term courseload.
