I'm assuming you've taken all of these courses: http://www.science.mcmaster. ca/pnb...raduate/BA.pdf

Truth be told the only "research-oriented" courses would be courses with labs, where you have formal write-ups (BIO 1A03)

There unfortunately isn't anything in the Psych department that's "research oriented"

The best that you can do for the upper year research courses is get to know your professors and maybe get into research with them! This can be tough in first year, but this will put you ahead of MANY students. Seeing as there aren't many "research" courses, this is all that you can do.

PNB 2QQ3 is a course that you do under supervision of a prof, and I assume this is just a time slot for you to actually carry out the research. So, there is no pre-requisite for this course, EXCEPT finding a supervisor!

Well, I'd look at taking those Bio courses once again, PNB does have a focus on Neuroscience so the BIO 1A03 in particular really helps!

Ok, looking at this, I can say, you will need Math, Bio 1a03, the two psych courses, and then the rest are upto you! Remember you need to fulfil the requirements for first year social science students! I'm actually not sure what they are, but as long as you have these courses^ you're good to go!

Nooo, stick to Bio 1P03, and then the second semester 1A03, don't take 1M03, you learn the same RELEVANT stuff in Psych anyways! Though I'm not sure if it's a prereq for upper year courses!

It's because of your program. If you look at the prerequisites for bio 1A03, first year social science/humanities/commerce students can't take it.
