First Year Eng. Elective? What was yours?
What was your elective during first/second/third/... year for engineering?

How was the course and difficulty? How did you do? What was the course load like?

I took English 1BB3 first year and it was relaxing. 3 hours a week, funny professor, and did okay in the course.

1st year: Macro / Micro Econ. Considered one of the easiest course for first year. Good prof (I think) and I actually enjoyed it.
2nd Year: Psych 1X03: Kinda boring to me since it is online lectures. But that also means a less tight timetable. Fair enough.

First Year: didn't take any
Second Year: French 1A06, I did french immersion in highschool so this course was a breeze. The prof that I had for the second half was really good, I think their are quite a few profs though since it is a first year course.
Third Year: French 2B03 & 2BB3, actually got into new stuff that I hadn't done in highschool but still pretty easy. Again the prof was really good for both of these courses.

I took First Micro 1B03 and Intro Psych. Micro was basically common sense and a little bit of high school math. Bird course.

Psych was a little bit more biology intensive than I would have expected, but otherwise kind of interesting. The night tutorials, and really long online lectures kind of sucked. I would suggest taking it, if you have taken biology in high school.

My boyfriend took a first year Psych class and HATED it. Most likely because there was lots of writing/essays, which he isn't good at.

First year: Micro and Macro econ because by the time I got home from work everything I wanted to take was filled. Still did pretty good though.

I get one more elective which I took last summer. Labour studies (only thing that would get me back to Toronto before midnight ), pretty good prof, only one essay and an article review. Lots of reading though.

I was thinking of taking management right when I got my acceptance to Mac. So I took econ 1B03 and 1BB3. That night class for 1BB3 in term 2 was pretty bad considering all the math tests were on Thursdays and the class was on Wednesdays. But everything went well
