Just curious what peoples averages were in first year life science?

That's going to vary a great deal. There are people who fail out and people who get perfect averages. There are also ~1000 people in the program (I think )

I'll still answer your question though: 10.0 or 10.2 I can't remember which

If you put in the effort 11+ is not very far! Almost all of the people I know were able to get at least 10+.

Not 1L03, that's an equivalent to grade 12 physics. Generally most life science students will take 1B03, especially because it has to be completed by the end of second year for a lot of second year programs.

Don't remember the exact numbers on the 12-point scale (I know them on the 4-point scale), but:
HS: 89%
1st Year: ~10.5
2nd Year: ~9.3
3rd Year: ~11
