Food in Rooms
Are we allow to bring like loaves of bread and cooking ingredients like salt, sugar, etc. into our rooms in residence?? At least I can cook my eggs in the common kitchen with some personal flavouring?

Yes, you can definitively do that.

Edit: I also should add that you are responsible for keeping your room clean and that it HAS to be clean when you move out at the end of the session in April. You'll get charged a cleaning fee (which is an outrageous price) if it's not.

why would you have to sneak cook? There's pretty much a kitchen on every floor of residence builds?

The only restrictions on things you can bring into your room stem from potential safety issues...such as alcohol in glass bottles and things with open hot elements. It's pretty much expected that you'll have food in your room.
