Forwarding email from muss - MacInsiders - Student-run McMaster University Help Forum

Hi, I had my email set up to forward to my personal gmail from the muss.ciss account. Now that we've switched to gmail, my email still gets forwarded to my personal gmail account.

Does anyone know how to unforward emails from my mac email to my personal email?

In gmail settings there's supposed to be a button you can click to deactivate forwarding emails.

But if you set this up before the systems switched over then for some reason this doesn't appear. Super annoying. :(

I had the same problem. I called the Technology Services Office (Just checked and it looks like this is the phone number and extension: 905-525-9140 x24357 (2HELP)) and the guy fixed it for me. It took a few hours but was fine after that. Good luck!

You may also want to try "Email Address Management" on the MUGSI portal. Unless you're an employee of the University as well, in which case that doesn't seem to work and nobody knows why....
