Freaking out
So I changed around my core to get a better timing. This caused a conflict with my other courses (whose cores I wasn't able to change as I wanted) and I can't change back because the core is full.

1) I'm going to try e-mailing the concerned academic advisors tomorrow but in case I am unsuccessful:

- For term 1 courses people say that lots of adding and dropping will be done in the first week. But am I allowed to attend one core for a few days and if I can manage switch out of it?

- For term 2 courses should I e-mail them now or after the first term? Will there be lots of opportunity to get courses in the second term and change around C/L/T?

you're so cute....I mean that in a nice way

just check solar a lot and try to switch back into the core you want
and just send the department an e-mail just in case

I am hopeful you will get back into your section because there is still plenty of time before school starts

If all else fails, just attend the original core.. you might bable to get away with it. Its not like it would effect your mark. . . . . .unless the course has class attendance

I'm trying to calm down but I have checked SOLAR repeatedly. In the morning, afternoon, evening. The only time I haven't tried is early morning. Guess I'm not sleeping this week

Oh honey... <----(How I Met Your Mother is awesome)

Seriously though, you'll be fine. Here's a valuable bit of information for you. Even though you're technically scheduled into a specific core for a class, there is nothing stopping you from attending the time slots for the other cores. The information taught in class is the same between cores, even if the profs are different. You might notice certain class times will be very crowded the first few weeks, but that usually goes away once students get in the habit of skipping class. Worst case scenario, you just attend the other class times and just go your regular scheduled class for midterms. Though I doubt it will ever come to that, usually spots open up as people change their courses around.
