Hey guys so I am in need of a little help. I bought my french CD used and tried to use it on my mac but it's too much of a hassle to install windows 7 on it, so I went to Mills to use the PC's there. When I put the CD into the CD-rom drive and tried to open it in "my computer" nothing happened. Is there something that I am supposed to download or install before trying to open the files on the CD? Or is it possible that the CD is broken since I bought it new (even though it doesn't have a single scratch)?
Also I asked the IT girl at the desk for help and she had no idea what could be wrong.

Take it to Prof. Gallier and tell her it's not working. That happened to me too and the French department will give you a new CD if they find that there is a problem with the one you have.
