Hey can someone tell me when the french 1z06 midterm is and what units are covered.. also are there any writing pieces like the exam or is it just similar to the first midterm? Thanks

From the Prof:

The test will be written in class during class time.
If you attend a Wednesday section, for your section, the test is
scheduled on Wednesday, March 3. If you attend a Thursday section, for
your section, the test is scheduled on Thursday, March 4.

The test includes lessons 8 to 11.
All grammar questions are taken from the CD: lessons 8 to 11 (sample
questions and drills) and quizzes 8 to 11.
The paragraph of 150 words in the present tense is based on the film
for lesson 10: Au café.

also i think she said last class that if you prepare the paragraph before hand and show it to her that she will highlight the mistakes you have made so you can go back and look at them

Do you guys know of any online sample tests for test 2? Been looking, can only find the winter exam on the library website.

the prof said reflexive verbs are not on the test so....
does that mean we don't have to study the ones in chapter10???

definitely study them
I think she meant that reflexive verbs in the passé composé, which is in lesson 12 and we just covered monday, would not be covered on the exam
anything in 8-11 is fair game

I thought it was just in present tense There was no clear instruction on the test though.....A paragraph with only reflexive verbs might sound kinda bad.

Nothing unexpected. Wasn't bad. I had been swamped the past 2 weeks, so I hadn't attended class at all the past 2 weeks. Now I find out the paragraph was supposed to be written in past tense and reflexive verbs and other fun stuff. FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU

I don't think we were supposed to use past tense at all? I thought she said that we still had to learn two other forms of past tense before we could use it in a paragraph.. but i could be wrong.

But yeah, nothing unexpected at all. just do the quizzes on the disc for 8-11 and you'll be fine i think
