French 2b03/2bb3
I see a lot of threads about people trying to find a spot in classes, and I'm specifically looking for french 2b03/2bb3 for my minor. I emailed the department head (Hajdukowski-Ahmed) but she said they can only offer spots for major students.. so I was wondering whether anybody has ever had luck getting into this course after it filled up, or emailing the department!

Thanks

There's been quite a few threads about that already, and all you can do is wait and hope someone drops it from now until the second week of school. Also, maybe post here and see if someone is willing to trade: http://www.macinsiders.com/showthrea...1.html?t=43571

i'm relying on july 11 or whatever that day is when SOLAR reopens for everyone

i feel like on that day they won't be like "reserving " spots for people anymore and if a course legit is open, it'll open up.

and plus people will be changing stuff all over the place right?

*here's hoping*
i really can't imagine not taking french next year...
it'll be the first time in 14 years i haven't had french in school and that'll just be the biggest waste, especially since I WANTED a DOUBLE MAJOR in the subject but since I'm in Science they said it wasn't allowed.

Yeah I definitely want to get in! When I emailed Mme. Ahmed, she told me to keep her updated..I'm really hoping that means they might open up if necessary..

Apparently you can get a double major if you don't specialize

That doesn't apply to programs in the faculty of science.
