Funding for conference
I'm in my last year of Mechatronics engineering and I'd like to attend to an electric car conference in Montreal during October but I don't have the money for it. I've been looking around to see if I can get funding from my faculty, other faculty, or just find any funding from mac that would allowed me to do so.

Unfortunately I haven't been successful with my search so I'm wondering if anyone knows how or from where I could get funding to go to this conference? It means a lot to me since this is what I want to do in the future and this is a good time for me to network and focus more on what I want to do once I graduate.

Thanks to anyone that can provide any useful information.

Hey Esteban,
Try reaching out to companies in the industry (especially ones you would like to work for when you finish school). A lot of companies will sponsor students, bloggers and people who are super active on social media to attend conferences like these in exchange for you writing about the conference for them. Maybe contact a few green technology news websites as well. Your writing is solid and if you can put together a persuasive email to them they might sponsor you to go as well.
Good luck!
