Geo 2RC3
I was wondering how people found the difficulty for this course. I've heard mixed reviews about this course. How is the midterm & the assignment? As well, since Dr. Peace doesnt post notes, how did you find learning & taking notes? Also, does he post solutions to the textbook questions? Any help is appreciated!

Geo 2rc3 is 100% bird, if you can finish a colouring book then you can do the assignment, as far as the midterm goes its usually labelling certain areas (mountainous regions etc.) on a map and certain obvious cities ex, Nunavut, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal etc. Exam was quite easy as well, mainly MC as I remember it. Me and my friends all got 12s with the exception of a few, class avg for the midterm was high 70s low 80s. Overall a bird course.

As far as natural disasters goes, it once was a bird course, this new prof was once a TA and from what I heard she was quite a "bitchy" one, so if that attitude carries into teaching the natural disasters course I would stay away.

Hope that helps

The exam wasn't something you could just walk into without studying, the prof never asks to memorize certain dates, never asks you to memorize the names of certain lakes but, you do need to memorize certain types of geological formations around Canada. overall, it took me about 2 days to study everything in hours it was probably about 7-10 hours which isn't much.

Make sure you buy the book. He asks quite a bit questions on material in the book that he doesn't cover in lecture

Yea the book can help, he usually tells the class where some of the questions will come from in the notes, like he pin points it.

Midterm is 30 MC, 1 essay question, 20 marks for SA and you have an hour and 30 minutes, assignment is coloring a map and the exam is 60 MC 2 essays, 30 SA, 2 hours.
