GEOG 3MI3/SOCSCI 2EL0 Question
Hello, quick question about taking the course GEOG 3MI3.

According to the Mac registrar, the course pre-req for this is Soc Sci 2EL0. I'm currently in 2nd year, and I plan on taking GEO 3MI3 next term.

I'm confused about how Soc Sci 2EL0 works exactly. Since it ends in a 0, when registering for it through solar, would it not count towards my 30 units for the year? (Hope that's not confusing).

For example, if my third year term 1 contains 15 units, am I still able to take Soc Sci 2EL0 in first term, so that I am able to take GEO 3MI3 second term? Also, do I register for Soc Sci 2EL0 through solar, as I would any regular course?

Any help at all is greatly appreciated, thank you

Soc Sci 2EL0 is usually the pre-requisite if you want to go for an internship at some point in your university career. It doesn't have any units because at the end of the course you will just show up as either pass or fail in your transcript. This is also only 6 weeks long and yes, you have to register this course through SOLAR.

Yes it is a zero unit course. It's free to register on SOLAR, but the required course material for it is like $30.
