Where to get MatLab for Mac?
I'm running OS X 10.8 and I'm wondering where I can get MatLab? Any/all torrents I found seems to be just for windows...

I can't help you with matlab itself, but in the event that you find it, for 10.8 you'll need to install XQuartz as well:

Protip: Be careful posting about torrents on here. MacInsiders Admins don't like that and they have been known to remove posts/suspend accounts.

You could try Octave. It's an open source environment compatible with MATLAB.

1) use a google search like: "pirate bay matlab mac" -> much better than using searches inside torrent websites.
2) try searching for Matlab linux. Mac also uses the unix kernel.
3) bootcamp windows 7 (or VM)
4) use a lab computer. There are some in JHE with matlab installed.

-good luck. Matlab is a script based programming language that most people hate: particularly if it is "taught" by the math department. I found this site useful for math
