Hey guys,

I'm currently having trouble with regards to choosing an elective and getting a seat in one.
Anyway, the issue right now is: Someone told me that their friend who is NOT in Eng & Mgmt, got to do ECON 2X03 (which is econ only for mgmt students) as his elective.

Is this possible? If so can i take ECON 2G03 as my elective, although the electives sheet --> http://www.eng.mcmaster.ca/documents/electives.pdf tells me i cant

Also what should i say to convince them? I was told that he said he wanted to persue a minor in ECON.

take 2g03 (exact same course), just to take it. Will SOLAR not let you register for it? If it doesn't go to an academic adviser and argue for it saying that you want to minor econ or whatever

He can't take 2G03 either since it's not allowed on the electives list...do you think you can take something else? There must be another econ course in level 2 that you are allowed to take.

Econ 2A03 maybe?
