Girls: How Important Is Humor In A Guy?
Girls, how important is humor is in a guy? i.e. when it comes to dating (or a potential date) how important is it for a guy to be able to make you laugh?

Haha, I somewhat agree with lawley. He definitely has to be able to take it too. But I wouldn't say it's "key" per se but it's pretty important. But really, I think having a sense of humour is important for anyone. It just makes you seem more approachable and down-to-earth.

"Do girls like guys that have a personality"

You know what's important ? CONFIDENCE. Meaning growing some balls.
You don't have to be a comedian. Making someone laugh is spontaneous , most of the time you say something without wanting it to be funny but it turns out it is. Build that skill up.
A girl who likes you will laugh at shit that isn't even funny.

I agree with this.
There are some guys who are always funny, all the time. They're great, but that doesn't mean I want to date them solely for that reason.
If someone likes you, you'll create your own sort of humor. You guys will laugh at things that other people won't find funny. It's not that you need to make jokes 24/7. Don't worry about this kind of thing, because there's no one in the world that never says anything funny. Just be yourself and if you two get along, you'll be able to laugh at whatever. |

I agree with this 100%.
And the funny part has to be natural. I don't like it when a guy feels the need to make everything a joke or doesn't know when to just let the joke die. I think most people have a sense of humor, you just need to find the person who finds the same things as you funny. |

I don't know if most of the time you say something without meaning it to be funny and it is. But it's nice when it happens!  But I think it's really annoying when a girls laughs at everything even when it's not funny. Last year I had a really hot TA for one of my tutorials. Every single one of the girls in the class (excpet me) GIGGLED whener he said anything. I ended up being really annoyed with him (yeah I know, wasn't his fault) but he was totally loving it. I hate when guys know they're hot. I ended up being really sarcastic to a lot of his comments... maybe not the nicest thing but I least I wasn't gigglinh.
