Go bus qucik question?
I won't be staying in hamilton so I will be making a trip to mac every day starting september by go train.
I just want to know how busy the go train can get during rush hours.... I have taken it to hamilton before but NOT during rush hour and since plenty of seats were always available I was able to study during the trip.
Will this be the case if I take it during rush hours? Would I be able to count with the 2-3 daily hours I will spend on the train to study?
Please don't tell me it gets as bad as the TTC....

During rush hours, GO is typically packed. I went during rush hours and stood on the stairs nearly the entire trip.

EDIT: In the morning, you'll still be able to find seats. It's around 4 - 5 is when it's really packed.

I get off work at 4:30 and often catch the train that leaves at 5:10 or something like that from Burlington. I am always able to get a whole section of 4 seats to myself when I first get on and it is very uncommon that someone sits near me. And on Fridays it is the same thing.

Leaving from Mac during rush hour is easy, but heading to Mac during rush hour is much more busy xD

Sometimes it gets pretty bad, particularly during winter rush hours (going towards Mac). It's not unusual for a bus to be half an hour late during such periods...

I've always been able to get a seat on the train, And thats after 26~ (two and a half 10 ride passes) trips. Although I don't leave at a particular time so I may just have avoided rush hour every single time

the GO train heading to burlington/aldershot is always pretty empty... its only packed if you're heading downtown...
but if you're taking the train from port credit or clarkson, its not busy at all. its pretty quiet, and you get a section of 4 seats to yourself pretty much always. i commuted this way for over a year, and its been working for me. it def is good for studying.
but not busy at all.

Good luck!
