Golden Key International Honour Society
So, as I was about to leave for Hamilton today, I got a letter at home from this... Golden Key International Honour Society thing. Apparently, they sent out invitations for memberships for students who are in the top 15% of their class. There was also a letter signed by Peter George talking about it.
I'm not really sure what it's all about, I've never heard of it before. Did anyone else get this, and are you going to join? It's like a 90 membership fee though. :/

So your reward for trying really hard and getting good grades is having to pay to join a club? O_O

That's what I don't understand. I didn't have an 11 average last year, I got some 11s but not enough. It might be top 15% of your faculty maybe, who knows.
And yeah, I'm not so hot on paying a fee to join a club lol.
Thanks for the links guys. :]

Yeah I did... umm I'd seriously look into what they offer before joining, it can be a waste of money.. But they helped me find some volunteering opportunities which was cool.
The best part about it was learning that my cousin from south africa is also a member!

Please do so, I just got my invitation today. I was looking at the scholarships they offer, https://www.goldenkey.org/GKIHS/Memb...wardLi sting/
and I found alot of them require experience (10ish page reports) or strange essays, so I am not exactly leaning towards it =\
