Good Character = New Car
what do you think? The student at this highschool who shows the best character wins a car! I think this is the most stupidest thing ever...Why should you be awarded for good character traits....Your character is based on who you are as a person. The students are going to grow up thinking that for every good deed they do, they need to be awarded for it! argg...it makes me so angry. This is a prime example of our selfish and self-centered society.

Students already think that way. Hence why they think that are entitled to so damn much.

Is anyone else outraged that the mustang is only a V6? If I have to be nice to people, the least they could do is give me the V8!

the car shouldn't go to the best one. then the ones who KNOW they can't catch up to the nerds who volunteer and do other things which add "character" points are not going to even try. Or at least they would if they were smart enough.

The prize should be a lottery between the top 20% of the graduating class or something (based on character points or whatever).

And they did mention scholarships. A lot of scholarships these days are based on marks and extracurrics, no difference between giving a $30k for being good than giving a $30k scholarship.
(except you have to pay for gas/insurance on the car)
