Hopefully it had some sorta "Doesn't suck of your money back" guarantee... Didn't that cost a lot of money?

haha wow that didn't last very long.

I hope this D2L is better than ELM. Otherwise it's just going to be another waste of time and money.

I don't have a black berry, but that's just cool. I really wish that Mac hadn't invested so much in ELM though...

Kick Ass! Frankly I don't like having online assignments at all, prefer everything to be hard copies but if the system is better then elm I'll accept it

Hey everyone, I was just curious, is ELM really a huge issue for a lot of people at McMaster, i find that it doesn't work at school very well but I've never had an issue with it at home (i have a mac and use safari) just curious of how bad it really is for everyone else (doesn't load, doesn't post, ?)

Sorry i use firefox not safari**

It was bad back in September, it hasn't been bad for me since then. Apparently a lot of people also had problems at the beginning of second semester. I use Chrome on a PC.

Check D2L out. Pretty sweet if it's anything like the demo video.

Doesn't look very different from ELM/WebCT functionality-wise, but I'll be more that happy to get away from the ELM UI (Why is it so ugly?). As long as it works I'm happy.

I wish we would have gone with Sakai or Moodle, two free and widely used systems (Sakai is used by Stamford, Rutgers, Cornell, etc.)
