GPA for software-embedded?
does anyone know the CA GPA that was required last year to get into software engineering, software engineering(embedded systems) and computer engineering?

a second year student whom I bought my books from told me that he was in computer engineering and got in with a 4.0. not sure about software though..

Adrian,since u r in software, do u know what the cut off for software was last year?

i'm not in the program but i know somebody who is...the embedded division is a very small subset of all the people in software...the minimum requirement for any level 2 eng program is a 4.0, but specifically for software/embedded, there is no minimum gpa requirement.

yes, a 4 gpa is the cutoff, but if you're getting that low, consider another program lol, cuz 3rd year doesn't get any easier.

Also, i don't get why people go to embedded unless they like machine-level stuff. Let me tell you that stuff seems very tedious(i have a course in it and teh assignment is soooo long)

what do u mean by "machine level stuff"? and isn't Software Engineering(Embedded Systems) same as Courses of Software Engineering(general)+ a few Extra courses?

the extra courses: embedded software - which is machine level...
