Grade release
Hey guys, are you going to stay up to see your grades? Or just check them out in the morning ?
Grade release is 21st, not 22nd as some might think.
Term 1: beginning December 21, 2011
http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /regis...ade-dates.html
Good luck everyone, I know I am staying up late tonight

I would love to see my grades but it only shows to students who has no outstanding account with the university. I am one of those people who has an outstanding account.
Sometimes not all of your final marks will be up exactly on that day...

Do they come out at a set time everyday, or just some arbitrary time in the morning?

Aren't there still exams tomorrow? I thought they don't release the grades until all the exams are done

it pretty much depends on the prof and the registrar people on doing this. The profs sends your marks to the registrar and the registrar people approves it before actually releasing them

It can get pretty arbitrary, if memory from first year serves correctly.

I remember last year it was like, they would be updated by 10 PM, everyday till the second term. So not all grades will be up.
I'm not going to check. I already know one grade (Avenue postings of final exam mark ftw) but I'm not going to bother with the rest. I'm just going to enjoy the time till I have to start stressing again.

They don't post anything during the winter break right (Since the university is closed)?

From the office of the registrar website.
That is very weird, it might be a typo though. I am wondering the same thing since people are still writing their exams.

They do, last year two of my marks "chem 1e03" and "math 1za3" were posted during the break. chem was posted on the evening of the 24th...way to ruin Christmas eve
But for some reason they stop posting after the 24th, and they resume again when we come back in term 2.
