"Guidance counsellors" for students?
I'm sure they are called something else here at University, but I was wondering whom I would approach regarding course selections and stuff like that.

More specifically, I would like to talk to someone about my choice for electives second term, just to work out what would be the best fit for me, I don't think I'd like/do well in the elective I have set up for second term.

Any help/direction would be greatly appreciated

PS

I'm in Engineering 1

Engineering office on the second floor of JHE. Sally Williams (or her associates) are who you want to see.

Sally Williams, I figured she would be a good person to approach.

Those are both great suggestions, hopefully they'll help me out, thanks guys!

I went to one of these people once and they asked me no questions. No questions = no guidance, seems like they were just there to take care of the administrative side of the changes I had on my mind. Maybe that person was having a bad day or just didn't care about their job.

Well, I mean I think I know what I want to do more or less, I just need some questions answered and maybe some advice on the matter. meh, no harm in paying them a visit.
