Hamilton 350: Saturday October 24th 2009

What does the number 350 mean?

350 is the most important number in the world - it's what scientists say is the safe upper limit for carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Everyone from Al Gore to the UN's top climate scientists has now embraced this goal as necessary for stabilizing the planet and preventing complete disaster. Now the trick is getting our leaders to pay attention and craft policies that will put the world on track to get to 350!

Be part of the Global Day of Action on Climate Change happening in over 1700 locations in 140 countries world-wide! The goal is to get the planet to a safe level of greenhouse gases.

Saturday October 24th
12pm - 3pm: Activities in Gore Park
3pm: Walk to the federal building
