Hamilton Mardis Gras EH! Event

Canada’s largest Mardi Gras pub crawl. Experience the thrill and excitement of Mardi Gras – Canadian style!

The Mardi Gras Eh! 2014 pub crawl will be held in 5 cities this year in Ontario: St. Catharines, Hamilton, Kitchener/Waterloo, Guelph, and Toronto. With an expected attendance of over 5000 revellers this year, it is the largest party of its kind in Canada.

Dates, times, venues:
The pub crawl will be scheduled in different cities on different dates between Feb 14th and March 7th. In most cities we will run the event from 7 pm until midnight, and the pub crawl will include 5 venues.

Check the facebook page for details! https://www.facebook.com/events/239546146211411/

Admission to this event includes:
  • No cover charges
  • No lineups
  • A special event t-shirt
  • Contests and prizes, including the famous “bead-toss”
  • Drink and food specials
What should I wear?
Make sure you dress up for the event in a Mardi Gras theme. If you aren’t sure, Google “Mardi Gras” for ideas. The colour scheme is gold, green and purple. Crazy wigs, sunglasses and hats are all great ideas. And of course, BEADS!!! We will be handing out beads at the event but that doesn’t mean you can’t bring your own.

It is a good idea not to bring your best coat. Going in an out of bars it is easy to lose your coat. Depending on the temperature it might be good to just wear a lot of underlayers instead of a coat.

The total block of tickets for each city is split into 10 teams. This is to help organize the pub crawl so that larger groups can be split up to fit into some of the the smaller pubs. If you are going on the pub crawl with friends, it is recommended that you sign up for the same team to ensure you will be at the same bar at the same time. For many of the cities there is a final last stop, a larger venue, where all the teams go together. Be sure to check the event listing for your city, accessible from our Facebook page, for updates regarding the venues.

Tickets and admission.
After you make a ticket purchase, you will be automatically emailed a ticket that has a security code. You cannot gain admittance to the bars and clubs with this e-ticket. A special location will be announced prior to the event where you will go to exchange your email ticket for your lanyard and event pass that you will need for admission to all the bars and clubs on the crawl. You will also get your t-shirt at the special location.

To purchase a ticket go to this website: http://www.mardigrascanada.c om/, and if you want to support children who have autism receive therapeutic ABA based programming, use the code 'autism' for a discounted ticket! ($10.00 /off original ticket price!)
