Ginny and Harry were bound to be together... Ginny was like in love the moment she laid eyes on him!

I'm not a huge fan of the ending.... and if Harry dies... that might mean its truly the end of the Harry Potter series. I don't know about you guys but I'm hoping J.K. decides to write maybe one more book!!! I didn't really like how it just skips to when they all get married and have kids and live happily ever after. Its just a typical fairy tale ending.

We should start a Harry Potter fan club or a movie/book club if there isn't one out there already!

How is this different from reality?
lol Ya, that's true but Ginny had been attracted to Harry long before he became a "man" so I duno, it just didn't seem like he liked her for who she was. (I'm just grasping at straws for reasons not to like the pairing )

Oh so you haven't read the last book? :S

I'm so down for a club! I don't think there's one at Mac already, I would know about it. haha

haha of course i've read the last book! Got it the day it come out.. finished it the same day!

I'm just saying if J.k decided to kill Harry... its just a whole new ending... there was actually a petition to have Harry Potter die in the final book... its kind of silly.

Ohhh haha I see. I finished it in the same day too! Only stopped for a bathroom break. lol

You're right, it would be the ultimate ending. Instead we get a fairy tale epilogue and it feels like it's not quite over. Everyone wants to know what happened in between the epilogue and even after. JK did say she was considering writing an encylopedia and it would have more details.

A petition? XD Well JK kinda satisfied both audiences, technically Harry did die and came back to life. I loved that part actually, I was hoping for something like that where Harry had to sacrifice himself. ^_^

Apparently some american writer stole the idea and went and wrote one... americans want credit for everything.... J.K filed like a lawsuit against the guy. I'm not sure what happened with it.

I was kind of expecting Harry to go like Black did. I'm still a bit lost at what happen to him... It was really sad to see Sirius come into his life and get taken away just like that.

I read “HP 3 in 15 minutes” too – it was HILARIOUS! I remember laughing so hard because al the jokes were right on.

I liked Ms. Lynch too. I remember when they were in the Department of Mysteries and she cursed someone, sending him flying into the air. And then she cocked her head and just kind of stared at him, totally out of it.

I’d like to be cast as some sick Death Eater and have a shot when I take somebody out. But even so crappy extra would be awesome; I’d love to have my arm in the frame.

Oh, Sirius. He was probably my favourite character. He died in the oddest way imaginable. I remember reading it and being like “wait, what?” So I read it again and it was still odd. If you think about it, would you expect the guy the slipped out of Azkaban to die from a curse from his cousin like a slew of other people? He did get hit, mind you, but the aftermath was one of the weirdest moments in the series. Oh, while I’m at it, it was kind of rushed in the movie – we don’t even see a snapsot of the duel. Howeverm they did give him one of the best moves yet: “Get away from my godson” –punch- XD.

By the way, Bellatrix, so evil, so annoying, so awesome. I would read her dialogue and think what a byotch she was, and then think “she’s great.”

LOL yea.. I didn't really get Sirius' death until really later on and had to read back... it kinda happened too fast. I had to read that part twice. It seems alot of people missed that during the intense fight.

My favorite part in the series has to be when Mrs. Weasley defends her daughter at the final epic duel in the Grand Hall against Bellatrix at Hogwarts in the Deathly Hallows and swears something like GET AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER, *****!!!

That moment made me crack up so bad and was just amazingly funny and valiant at the same time.

lol i read the 7th book in the day it came out and never noticed the "GET AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER. *****!!!" part until I saw the facebook group for it.. haha so funny I loved that line too in the rereads... I got the audio version from the library to listen too before I went to bed, it was really good too, the reader was dramatic and does different voices for the characters

Haha that part was sooo great!!! It was all intense at that moment and out of nowhere she just comes out and says it! The person who plays Bellatrix couldn't be any better! As much as I hate her... she's actually great in a evil kind of way.

LOL yea... I just re-read that particular part. Still love it! Can't wait for the movie. But reading the ending again, I realized how much I've forgotten. Maybe I should go on a marathon of Harry Potter and reread the series before the movie!

I saw it at midnight. I really enjoyed it.

You have to make the distinction between books and movies though. Books are books and movies are movies. You aren't going to get a literal, scene by scene translation. You have to view them separately.

I had a few tiny nitpicks but it's all fine and good, there's always going to be things to nitpick in any film.

In any case the cinematography was the most beautiful it's ever been.

Key scenes are really, really well done too. For example the cave seen.

Have fun tonight.

I just came back from seeing it! Already my friends were saying how disappointed they were. But you said perfectly sew12. I wish other people saw it that way. I thought it was a LARGE improvement over the last movie. Beautiful cinematography. Much more detail included over the last one. I was looking forward to this film the most because I'm a huge Draco fan and this was his shining moment and he was great! Finally, he got the screen time he deserved.

My only problem was Ginny...the whole movie I was thinking "Go away" >.> lol. Still don't like her that much.

Oh this was also the funniest movie yet! Oh my gosh, I actually laughed fairly hard a few times.

EDIT: Know what my second problem was? The stupid fire alarm that went off 5 minutes into the movie at my theatre. Aghhhh. We had to leave and lose our seats and everything, then we got to come back and people were fighting for their seats back. lol

Many hardcore HP book fans are far too harsh on the films. These are adaptations, they have time constraints they can't include everything. Books are books and it's nice to have some things left to the imagination, that's the magic of books, especially fantasy books like HP.

They bash and nitpick every little thing that is or isn't include that isn't done right etc.

It's a little ridiculous. These films bring to the screen the magic and essence of Harry Potter and have overall been done very well. They adapt the books to the screen and play out the main story. They aren't meant to be nearly as detailed as a 600+ page book.

Enjoy the films for what they are, bringing characters and a story you love to life.

This film as it is was a wonderful film. It was funny, well written and again the cinematography was amazing. It was a very enjoyable film, the acting especially has improved tenfold since early movies and the characters were wonderful.

If you want a scene by scene retread of each book do it yourself, that's not what film adaptations are about. They are about capturing the story and despite details I too felt were missing this film really did that.

It's my second favourite film now after Prisoner of Azkaban which I felt was so wonderful. I always wished Alfonso Cuaron had done another film.
