I don't remember 1:16 happening in the book. I guess it's been a long time since I read it.
I didn't watch the first part of the seventh movie, because I got tired of coming out of them feeling like it wasn't half as good as the book. Additionally, I didn't like the seventh book, so I probably would have really disliked the movie.

yeah there wasn't any voldemort/harry base jumping in the book
Who doesn't? Which is why I'm a bit tired of the HP movies now (Movie 6, anybody? UGH. That Burrow scene was annoying...and they cut out the BEST SNAPE LINE EVER. I still can't get over that).
It makes it harder to anticipate new book adaptations, and I'm really afraid I'm going to get severely disappointed by trusting the people making the Hunger Games adaptation. :/
But anyway, HP.

SUPER EXCITED !!!
i had doubts that they weren't gonna do a good job at it (i mean HP4 was complete rubbish - imo ), but HP7 (part 1) was AMAZING (imo). can't wait for it. XD
YES, so excited!!! Sure, they aren't as good as the books, but I still love the movies. I just never want the whole Harry Potter craze to end! Anyone seen A Very Potter Musical/Sequel? I hear they're thinking about doing a third.

I'm sooooo excited! My friends and I are going to have a HP movie marathon before we watch DH pt2.
I feel like I grew up with HP. I read the first book when I was in second grade and now the last movie is coming out when I'm going into second year.

These movies are supposed to be different from the book. The books are another level that will never ever be replicated. The directors wanted to create somethings that slightly different.
