I was able to get onto both MUGSI and SOLAR after hours and was able to pick a few courses (not all) due to an emergency at home. So I saved the courses I selected and attended to said emergency. I was able t get back onto SOLAR after a couple of tries, only to read this:

"There are no online applications available for you at this time. Please see the Help/FAQs for normal hours of operation and additional availability information."

The FAQ isn't quite helpful. WTF just happened and is it fixable?

Moral of the story: don't attend to emergencies the night of course selection.. be it a critical hospitalization, home invasion, or birthing of a child.
