I'm not sure about Stats 2B03 but I took HTH SCI 2A03 last year and found it to be a little too PBL for my taste. The text book was good and the profs really knew their stuff but the way it was taught didn't allow me to retain a lot of information. I'm usually OK with PBL courses but with stats I found it a little hard to learn using this approach and relied on the textbook for midterm/exam studying.

That being said, if you keep up (or better yet, read ahead of your classes), the classes makes a LOT more sense.

Stats 2B03 is definitely not PBL, it's just follow steps and formulas.

I took Hth Sci 2A03 and I didn't retain a whole lot of material. The textbook was very confusing. Statistics is definately not a topic easy to learn by yourself.
