"so that green sticker is not a buss pass but for compass to get a bus pass for student rate :/"
yes. the green sticker represents your registration (like the red one during the regular school year). you will be required to have this sticker when you write any tests and exams during the summer.
the green sticker is DOES NOT include a bus pass. although, it gives you the ability to purchase a student bus pass from compass.
i received my sticker after i confirmed the payment agreement.
best bet is to call/ drop in to the registrar office. it may just not have been mailed out.

You get the sticker once you confirm your payment agreement, have you done that already? If you already have then and still didn't get your sticker then you have to either go to registrar's office or call and them ask about it. The sticker doesn't work for HSR over the summer, you have to use bus tickets or you can get a 4 month bus pass from compass and you don't need your sticker for that you need the sticker to write your tests as it confirms your registration in your summer classes.

That's because the registrar is not responsible for bus passes, so searching the terms 'registrar' and 'bus pass' together isn't helpful.

You need to learn how to figure this stuff out on your own, that is why I didn't just google it and give you the information. It will make your life a lot easier if you are able to find basic information like this.

You have to go to compass @ Mac and buy a X month long pass. Mcmaster will not send it to you like regular year
Note: it is prob cheaper to just buy tickets

tickets, or presto............... ........
I still haven't received my sticker and when I went to the office, they said they JUST mailed it out, so the same might happen with you, BUT if they haven't yet mailed it out yet, then you can pick it up from the office of the registrar
PS, presto is a good option if you're taking just one course, if you're taking two courses, get a pass!!

hey, question, what is the bus pass? do you have to show it and your summer id to the bus driver when you get on the bus?

it's a physical bus pass you get when you buy it at compass. and yes, I believe you do have to show both since it's only available to mcmaster students enrolled in summer school.
and in regards to everyone else in the thread, you can also buy a one month adult hsr bus pass from the go station for around 70-80 dollars (I believe you can also put it on presto). this is helpful if you have to commute a lot during the month but won't be attending both terms of summer school.
I recommend calculating how often you think you'll be commuting and then multiplying that by the cost of a ticket (2.00) to see whether it's worth it to use tickets/presto vs. get a monthly pass vs. buying the summer school pass from compass, which is expensive and also covers august even though there's only a week of school then.

If you stll haven't gotten the sticker, visit the registrar's office in Gilmour Hall 108.
If you want to buy the summer student's HSR pass, visit the compass in MUSC and you can purchase one by showing them your student card and sticker as proof of your summer term registeration.

If you haven't received the sticker yet, it's probably because you didn't confirm the payment agreement. My sis was waiting and waiting for hers, and once she confirmed, it came like 2 days later.
The office won't give you anything until you confirm the payment agreement, so make sure you've done that first.
