Google the nursing programs at the schools you're interested to find the prereqs. If you can get those prereqs with a health studies degree (plus the electives that that degree gives you) then you're fine.

Err, are you asking if you can become a nurse with just a health studies degree? No, you can't. You need a Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing or a Bachelor of Nursing. If you're doing a health studies degree then you would need to take specific electives during your time at Mac in order to apply for a nursing degree after you have completed your health studies degree. Like starfish said just google the nursing schools in Ontario to determine what pre-reqs you need.
