I know this is completely pointless, but it's been bugging me.
Does anyone else think that Heidi Montag's performance at Miss Universe 2009 was incredibly similar to Britney Spear's performance at the MTV Movie Awards in 2000? Maybe it's just the outfit and the hair..

Yea I heard that the outfit was similar to the one Britney wore. I thought Heidi's performance was horrible. Her dancing was crap, it looked like the top and bottom of her body didn't match. She should stick to reality tv.

Just a testament to the lack of creativity and overall lack of musical talent that abounds in the pop genre.
Do yourself and everyone else a favour and don't support this kind of garbage. It damages music as a whole.

I think this topic speaks to a larger issue, which is:
WHY IS ANYONE WATCHING VIDEOS OF HEIDI MONTAG AND BRITNEY SPEARS!?
Indeed.

Whoa whoa whoa. Heidi Montag is a performer now?
I listened to about 30 seconds of it... IT'S SO FAKE. How can anyone argue that they don't lip synche.
Also, @Feona: What's wrong with implants?

Implants... hrrrm. Well for one thing, we don't know the long term effects haha... I mean, how long has plastic surgery been around? Maybe when women turn 80, their implants will spontaneously combust.
But seriously, I get that implants are to... I don't know, make yourself look "better", but it just sort of prolongs the stereotype that you need big coconuts to look good.
And if it's for guys, most guys want the real deal - and if they get together with someone with implants, it's usually for a wham bam thank you ma'am.

Apparently for self-esteem problems too.

You could say the same thing with laser eye surgery and every new pill that the FDA approves every day. XD
And implants don't have to look unnatural. Not every person who gets them gets the big ol' double D's. xD; Although I know you can come back and say that most people who get them do get those.
Implants are also pretty helpful when a woman has different cup sizes for each breast. It's obviously impossible to find a bra that fits and implants would fix that.
But I do agree with you that we don't know the long term effects, but that's the same situation for all new medicine.
