HELP business 2nd year program
ok so my average above 5.0

so i thot i passed first year

but mugsi says my avreage is 4.7 and im not eligible for commerce 2

anyone know why?

is it because Commerce 1PA0 count as 1?

How is your average 5.0 if Mugsi says it's 4.7? Did you take 30 units in level I or did you count Commerce 1PA0 as one of the 10 courses, because it's a no-unit course.

Maybe you didn't do a weighted average when calculating your average. Although if all your courses are 3 units it wouldn't make a difference then

idk.. does 6unit course count as 2 seperate thing?

i took social work and i got 1...

6 unit courses apply twice as much towards your average as a 3 unit course, as far as I understand it.

So your 1 in social work would count as 2 half-courses when it comes to your GPA. However, that still doesn't explain the difference in the calculation. What courses did you take? Did you take 30 units or 27?

if there's still is a problem, set up an appointment with lori hill ASAP. she'll tell u what to do!

i guess i have to transfer or something..?

yes, social sciences or humanities are probably your options.

if you did not go to level 2 because of failing 1pa0, you should not transfer...and find a way to continue (I think there is a way)

no i cant go to 2nd year cuz i dont have minimum avg

but guys, if i take 2nd term summer school and boost up my avg

im elligible for 2nd year commerce?
